By using Kick Check, you agree to these terms. Kick Check is offered by the martial arts school that shared this link (“the school”) and run for the school by CertifML LLC (“we”). If you don't agree, please don't use it.

1. Who can use it

Kick Check is for parents and guardians using it with their child, and for the school's students and families. A child should only use it with a parent's permission and with an adult nearby.

2. Safety first

  • Only do the moves in a clear, safe space, away from furniture, stairs, walls and other people.
  • Keep an adult nearby, warm up first, and stop if anything hurts.
  • Only do moves your child is comfortable with. Follow the instructor's guidance over the app's.

You are responsible for using Kick Check safely. To the extent the law allows, the school and we are not responsible for injuries or damage that happen while using it.

3. What the AI does, and doesn't do

Kick Check estimates body position from a phone camera and turns it into practice scores and suggestions. Results depend on the camera angle, light and distance, and can be wrong. Scores are for practice and encouragement only. They are not a medical, developmental or psychological assessment, they don't diagnose any condition, and they don't decide anything: the instructor makes every belt and placement decision, and every child is welcome to a trial class regardless of score.

4. Text messages

Program: the martial arts school that shared this link Kick Check updates. When you check the consent box and send your results, you agree to receive text messages from the martial arts school that shared this link about your child: your results and practice plan, the Master's review, trial-class and 1-on-1 scheduling, progress check reminders (for example at month 1, 3 and 6) and class updates.

  • Message frequency varies, usually a few messages a month.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to opt out at any time. You'll get one message confirming you're unsubscribed.
  • Reply HELP for help, or contact the martial arts school that shared this link.
  • Consent to texts isn't required to use Kick Check or to join the school.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

See the Privacy Policy for how your number is used. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of anything you send, like videos and notes. You allow the school and us to store and use it only to provide Kick Check to you and the school (for example, so the Master can watch the video). Only send video of your own child, or of a child whose parent has agreed.

6. Fair use

Don't misuse Kick Check: no harmful or unlawful content, no attempts to break or overload it, and no copying, reselling or reverse-engineering the software. The Kick Check software and design belong to CertifML LLC.

7. No warranty

Kick Check is provided “as is”. We work to keep it running and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free or right for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about Kick Check is limited to $100.

8. Changes and ending

We may update Kick Check or these terms. If the terms change, we'll update the date above. You can stop using Kick Check and ask for your information to be deleted at any time.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States.
